Hopefully it's clear why we can't just make all our buttons jump from 10mm to 30mm or even 20mm. But I'll see what we can do, only on large screen devices.

Its 10x10mm. The same with the layer-button in the lower right corner.

In Sky-Map they are 20x20mm (thats for me the minimum, perfect will be about 30x30mm). Here a screenshot from Sky-Map, in the lower right corner are the (tranparency) zoom buttons. Its a very good solution.

Could you measure the height of the zoom buttons in mm, so I know whether they match up to what they're supposed to be?

I use the iPad 12.9".
For example the zoom buttons are really small and its a challenge to tap the right one if the air outside are not very calm... There is a lot of space around to make them much much bigger...
For example Sky Map have much bigger buttons and I like this way much more then the small buttons in Skydemon‌....

No such feature I'm afraid, feel free to start a thread to see if others want such an option.

At the moment SkyDemon has a notional hit test size which varies based on the size of the device you're using. ‌‌

In bumpy conditions, it es very difficult to tap the right button, because they are very small (zoom buttons and some others).
There is a way to customize it maybe? Or you enlarge them generally?
Would be very  helpful...
